Velingrad, June 11-12, 2026
Day 1
Some 120 educational experts and teaching professionals form more than 30 towns and villages joined the final dissemination event of the Eco-Civic Awareness project in Velingrad, Bulgaria.
The first day of the event (June 11, 2026) started with a presentation of the non-formal education teaching approaches used in the manual, and continued with getting-to-know-each other and energizing activities – Molecules, Postman, Detective and Body parts. It was a good start of the day with loads of smiles and positive vibes.

The session continued with presentations of the project idea and the final products – the Teacher’s guide and the Students’ book.

Since the multiplier event was meant to be an inspiration and a practical guide for the teachers to use the topics with their students, we held several practical sessions – simulations of real lessons following the lesson plans from the two modules. Day 1 was devoted to Civic Awareness topics – My identity and My right to opinion and expression.

Day 2, June 12, 2026
The second day of the multiplier event was devoted to presenting topics from the Eco Awareness module – Exploring biodiversity in nature: Biocube and How to build cooperation outside school. The participants made their own biocubes and acted the sketches they have created in groups so as to the scenarios they came up with to illustrate building cooperation advocating for an ecological cause.

At the end of the event there was a discussion of the future implementation of the educational materials in the participants’ schools and a final feedback session in which the teachers evaluated the presented materials as very useful and shared their plans to present them to the rest of their colleagues and make use of the lesson plans during the following school years. In the project team we are so very happy that, so as to one of the feedback form’s questions, the ECA project educational materials will be used with some 8000 Bulgarian students during school year 2026/2027.

The participants shared their appreciation of the quality of the developed training materials and easy-to-use resources for teachers and students, and of the great atmosphere of creativity and cooperation during the event.

Both teachers and the project management team of Prosveta Foundation parted inspired and motivated for future cooperation after the end of the project.
